Busch

Because of a somewhat strange work schedule we have every other Friday off at my new office. It makes for long days during the week but the 3 day weekend is pretty nice!

We decided to take advantage of the extra day, a free night thanks to rewards points we racked up staying in a hotel for 5 months straight, and our annual passes and head to the west coast of Florida for a quick overnight trip.

It is not easy to pack for 6 people even if it is just overnight so we left the house later than hoped. We told the kids they should nap on the drive so we could have fun for longer once we got there - thankfully they listened!

Friday we spent about 4 hours at Busch Gardens. It was a warm day but not bad at all by Florida standard. Still we pretty much just stayed in the splash park.

Florida really knows how to do water!

I can't believe how much the kids have grown since the last time we were here! It doesn't seem that long ago.
