House Pics

Here are some long overdue pictures of the new house! There's still much to do, but isn't that the case no matter how long you've lived in your house?! It's hard to know how to take pictures to really get a feel of the house but here is my best shot :)

Front room - we're using the very front room as our office (the bay window you saw on in the picture above) - this picture is taken from the door to the garage looking toward the front of the house. The door you see on the right is the front door.

This picture is taken from the front door looking toward the back of the house (you can see the same columns as in the picture above). The hallway on the left has the door to the garage and leads to the rest of the house. We think we may make this a sitting space with couch/love seat type set-up

Standing in front of the door to the garage and looking toward the back of the house is the kitchen, then dining room, then TV/kids' playroom. Along the left side off the kitchen is a hallway with the laundry room, guest room and full bathroom. Along the left side off the dining room is another hallway with the kids' bedroom and another full bathroom. On the left at the very back of the house (off the playroom) is a door to our master bedroom.

And here's a picture of the same room standing at the master bedroom door (right by the sliding glass) and looking toward the front of the house.

The guest room (that's right out-of-towner's, we have a guest room & bathroom so come visit us!!)

The kids' room

Left side of the master bedroom - the furthest left door is our closet (which is ridiculously huge), the double doors lead to the nursery and the door on the right is our bathroom

Right side of the master bedroom (we really need a bed frame and stuff on the walls!). The door you see on the far left is our bathroom again.

Master bath - don't hate us, I agree it's ridiculous! On the far left (not in the picture) is the toilet (in it's own little room), then working around the room - single sink, huge tub!!!, large shower, and then another single sink.

Through the double doors in the master bedroom is the nursery - as big as the other two bedrooms, but only accessed through our bedroom and it doesn't have a closet

Backyard - it slopes down more than you can tell in this picture and we back up to a "conservation area" so no back neighbors which is great but hopefully nothing too big and scary lives back there :)

Here's what the tree in the far left of the picture above looked like right when we moved in (during fall) - beautiful!

Got it? If you're still confused guess you'll just have to come check it out in person :)
