Christmas Day

Christmas morning we got up and Logan made french toast for breakfast - yum!  (which then required all the kids to be hosed down from their syrupy enjoyment)  We read the Christmas story and picked out gifts for Jesus from the Compassion Catalog.  Caiden picked a mosquito net (or as he tells it he's sending Jesus mosquitos), Rylan picked art supplies, Logan picked clean water and I picked a pig.

Then we started opening our gifts.  Rylan was a little bit crazy and had to be watched carefully or she might start ripping open other people's gifts.  Caiden did great and really didn't have any significant meltdowns - amazing!

About the time we finished opening all the gifts that weren't to or from Kellen and Toben, it was time for the twins to get up from their nap.  We brought them out for another quick round of gifts.

After lunch we ALL took a naps! :)  Most birthdays in our family are celebrated at Margaritaville so it only seemed right that we go there to celebrate Jesus' birthday too!

(This picture is so their personalities - Kellen grinning and Toben studying)

There were way more people on the roads and at Universal then we expected.  It totally looked like a normal (or slightly busier than normal) Sunday night.  Weird!

Merry Christmas from the Haag's!
