We survived our first camping trip with 4 kids! It might not have been as legit as trips in years past but we all had fun and would like to do it again so who cares.

Our campsite:
We borrowed a gigantic tent from some friends (I really should have taken a picture of the inside) and we may have had extension cords running sound machines and a space heater, but everyone slept well so we won't call that cheating. ;)
We had 2 pack-n-plays and 2 twin mattresses in the back room (I have never been so comfortable camping!) and Caiden and Rylan slept in the front room. Caiden, Rylan and Kellen slept through the night both nights. Toben woke up only once Friday night and slept until 6am (which was actually 5am thanks Daylight Savings) Saturday night but I can't complain about that.
We went with another family who have kids the same ages as ours and everyone got along great. The kids enjoyed roaming the woods, playing in the sand, fishing and just being outside. (Maybe we should just keep them outside all the time. They didn't even miss their toys!)

Sleeping in the tent the second night - Caiden was so worn out and sore on Sunday. I have never seen him so calm and move so slow!

Logan and Chris got to go on a couple canoe and kayak adventures - some of which didn't even include taking kids with them.
The weather was awesome (finally comfortable to camp here now that it's November!) and the company couldn't have been better!
