One year ago today we welcome you into the world. Everything about your arrival was so different than your brother's and from the beginning it somehow seems easier to have you added into our family than it was to just have one little one!

You're laid-back but don't let anyone be fooled... you have a loud voice when you need to use it! You're one tough little girl and it's a good thing because you have a very energetic and physical older brother!

You crawl with crazy speed, shoot up the stairs, stand while holding onto things, but haven't tried walking yet. You smile easily showing off your 4 little teeth and love to be held! I'm pretty sure if it were up to you, Mom would carry you around every minute of the day.

You're a great eater, good sleeper and flexible though you stick to your schedule easily. You need new things to figure out quickly and are often quietly getting into trouble when we aren't paying attention. You babble and sing frequently but haven't really tried to say any words or use many signs though you definitely seem to understand what we're saying or signing to you.

It has been a fast, wonderful first year with you, sweet baby girl, and we all love having you as a part of our family.
