Fireman

Three times a year our church has a community service day on Saturday morning.  This time around Logan had class so the kids and I found a project we could all do together.


First we decorated cookies and cards for the fireman.

         

Then headed to the station.  They gave us a tour and let the kids touch and try on lots of stuff.

          

Then they pulled out their big truck and showed us the bucket and ladder.  There are only 4 trucks this size in the state of Florida and 2 are in our county.

The ladder is over 100 feet tall - way up there!

It was fun to meet the fireman and of course the kids loved it!
